Sneak peek...

Hi everyone just dropping in quickly to show a sneak peek at one of our new products....

A cute little denim A line dress. What do you think? This is an updated pattern from our last winters gypsy peasant style dress that was super popular, I have also added an empire waist detail to it and some flower embellishments. (I'm off to make a bigger one for Indy)

Hopefully I will have a few of these ready for this weekend.

This week

How are you feeling this week?

We are on a 3 week break from school.

Indy has a bad flu, temperature high and not feeling the happiest.

Oskar has learnt a new kata at karate.

We have HUGE plans to make and look forward to.

I am designing and making new products - yah!

I am working out how to best deal with some 'stuff'.

I am trying to remain in the now and enjoy all that I am so darn lucky to have.

I am dreaming of a quick getaway to catch up and have some girly time in Melbourne.

I am cooking, cleaning and mothering.

I am writing wish lists in my head- things I want to do, see, be...

How are you going with it all this week?

The planning wall....

We love Australia.

We love camping with our kids and family and friends.

We spent 6 weeks last year on a camping trip to the red centre- we loved it.

We are planning another 6 week trip to Cape York.

We can't wait.

That's what hallways are made for ...

Our hallway is one of the most used useful spaces in our house according to both our boys. The oldest & the youngest have spent many an hour kicking a footy, playing cricket, skate boarding, bowling, penalty shoot outs, gliding on socks, nerf gun wars to name a few..... I gave up worrying about my picture wall and vintage maps years ago.
This pic was tonight after footy training Oskar & a friend playing championship handball!!

Street works outside our place...

These have been going the last few nights from about 7pm all the way through until 630am- with huge sports field type spotlights, reversing beeping trucks and massive diggers churning up the old highway bitumen..... I hope they finish soon as I am a very light sleeper.

Quilt number 2

A good weekend has resulted in me finishing another quilt off!! Yah!!

This is something that has been on the to do list for at least 6 months!!

I didn't get to the garden but I am sure that will happen....

My new quilt

Happy weekend all!!

After a massive day at market { huge to all the cool market peeps} and crazy running the kids around to Saturday sports games- phew- I came home and finished my owl quilt!! Yippee!! I cheated - if you think- and attached the I binding by machine- too easy!!

What do you think? I love it and it is nice a warm too!!
