busy days at silver nutmeg HQ!!! yippee!!

We will be at the market this Sunday on Father's Day and so have been planning a few less "girly" things and

 a few more things for dads and grown ups- we will have a few authentic vintage london bus number and

 letter wall hanging scrolls for sale!! 

All the way from the UK!!  VERY Cool!!!

We will also have a range of funky stylish "cross" cushions in superb "cool dad" colour ways!!!

As well as some more cool fun stuff!!

what a fun weekend we all had!!!

 The Barn Market Friday night- it was a wild wild night!!

Saturday brought sunshine and plenty of happy people!!

Sunday we were in Melbourne set up ready to go at Mathilda's in Hawthorn- it was a fantastic day with plenty of sales and a sea of mums, prams and little people!!

Thanks so much to my awesome sister for all her help and for being my taxi driver for the wkd!! and to our birthday neighbor Rosie from Notions - was SO good to have you keeping me company!!

Now back in Tassie a week back at work- and much work to be done on new orders, online store, and replenishing stock for upcoming markets!!!

Markets, markets so much fun!!

Come along and say hi!!

We are all  very excited about Friday night it should be a blast- if you are heading out why not stop in for some yummy hot pies, food, mulled wine, and enough awesome goodies to keep every member of the family delighted!!!

And saturday will be one busy day!! We are at The Barn Market until 3pm and then flying out to Melbourne for Mathilda's market the next day!! Woohoo!!

Friday the 13th Mayhem....

Both us as adults and our children are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful friendship group - all coming together through common interests of trying to raise healthy, happy well rounded children- it's these people that truly make the whole process of growing and raising children and parenting as a small "tribe" so much better for all involved!!!  Thank you!!

2 markets in one weekend- 1 interstate

What a perfect way to recover from a big night- some cutting and sewing and the results about 30 more little lady snap purses!!
We have a super busy week ahead of us here at silver nutmeg head quarters this week including:

• sewing up a storm of new products for this wkds markets
• proofing and hopefully receiving our new logo
• developing our new catalogue
• finalising and launching our much asked after online store
• catching up with some dear friends 
• organising the children for the wkd
• a few still secret things
• and another visit to the dentist to get my stitches out - woohoo!!
• 
  

Now depending on my motivation and energy levels this week will determine just how much of this list gets completed....wish me luck!!  What has everyone else got planned?

friday the 13th

This year Marty's birthday fell on Friday the 13th so earlier in the year we all decided to make a night of it and celebrate with a horror themed birthday!!
And it was a blast with everyone making the most amazing efforts with dressing up !!  We truly had an awesome night filled with many laughs indeed!!  The only regret - not enough photo's taken of everyone!!

some props for upcoming markets- the barn market is having a christmas in august event friday 20th august so need to get busy choosing which pieces I will use for this display- santa will even be there!!

red door white rooms

since being back we have also been busy putting some time back into our home as a result we have a bright red door again and have given down stairs white walls a fresh new coat as well as replacing some tiles in the entrance- yep they are now white also and although a little tired I am very happy with the results- oh and I love this bedroom...I could relax very easily in here

days of fun and family time

I know I have been absent for a while but there is good reason we have had a get away to Melbourne- and it really was such fun!!

We went to the Zoo- always a fav for us, lots of shopping nice cafe lunches, visits to some special little shops, the football in the hail!!, and some great catching up with family- it really was a wonderful trip!
