Happy birthday our Oskar had!!!

What a super weekend we had!!! We had a dear friends 8th birthday party on Saturday, we still managed Salamanca with Marty running the stall and being pretty much awesome, then Sunday was our Oskar's 8th birthday party!! Woot woot he had a ball as did his amazing friends!!!
Then Monday was his actual birthday - he got a wickedly hot BMX and we have been riding each day after school.
Plus our oldest started his first shifts at his new job!! Another awesome kid!!!
Continue enjoying the week and soaking up all the sunshine we have been getting!!

Ice skating fun

My kiddies went ice skating for the first time last wkd to celebrate a friends birthday!!

They had a ball of fun!! {I was secretly relieved when they had finished that there were no major injuries!!}

Keep calm....

On our white board today;

We have a board in our kitchen on the pantry door- the kids and Marty and I like to take turns in writing up happy thoughts, funny jokes and nice thought provoking quotes.

It keeps us all involved and brings up talking topics and long discussions that can be very amusing at times as miss 10 and master 7 grasp at the 'real meaning' tehe and very interesting at the individual meanings and thoughts on them all!!

I love it- it's just a simple little idea that keeps us all united kind of- one day we had "put a little happiness in every day" and the first thing Oskar asked me on the way home after school was - what was your little bit of happiness today mum?
